Majówka
Przyszła pora na majówkę.
U nas co prawda pierwszy maja pracujący, ale za to pierwszy poniedziałek maja zawsze wolny. I ostatni także. Tak zwane Bank Holidays.
To robię sobie wolne i ja. Ale pamiętam o Was, kochani, i wrzucam starą pocztówkę na majówkę swojej roboty, z wierszem Urszuli Kozioł, z życzeniem, by po tej długiej zimie znaleźć okazję, żeby pochodzić po zielonej trawie na bosaka.
Znaki czasu
czy tamta trawa
nadal jest pogięta
w miejscu gdzieśmy leżeli
przykryci obłokiem
i kto ją wygniótł tak
pod czyim okiem
gdyśmy objęci leżeli na wznak
a ptak nad nami
kreślił czasu znaki

It's time for the May bank holiday.
Here, the first of May is a working day (in Poland it is Bank Holiday) but the first Monday of May in UK is always free. And the last one too. The so-called Bank Holidays.
So I'm taking some time off as well. But I'm thinking of you, dear ones, and for the occasion I'm sharing an old postcard of my own making for the May holiday, together with a poem by Urszula Kozioł, with a wish that after this long winter you may find a chance to walk barefoot on green grass.
Signs of Time
is that grass still bent
where we once lay
covered by a cloud
and who pressed it down so
under whose gaze
when we lay there embraced
face up to the sky
while a bird above us
traced the signs of time
